Eye Love You: Etude House’s Eye Cream and Garnier’s Eye Roll-On

Facing the computer for eight hours a day and going through stressful situations may lead you through sleepless nights and yes…dark under eye circles or eye bags appear instantly. To avoid looking haggard and ten years older than my original age, I bought two products to test which will work better for me. Hence, the Etude House’s Eye Cream and Garnier’s Eye Roll On.

Every time I enter Etude House, the store never fails to fascinate me. Not because its walls and counters are colored in pink and it looks like you’re inside a doll house but also with their products. So I chose their cream to address my problem regarding the dark circles. The product is packaged in a cute tube. Its cream is milky white, non-greasy and smells nice. I like it after applying the product due to its moisturizing quality. It’s a bit pricey though. After weeks of use, it has gradually reduced my eye bags. But it’s still there.

Garnier Eye Roll On is famous on magazines and TV commercials, so I bought it right from the counter at Watson’s Department Store. It’s much cheaper compared to the eye cream from Etude House. It looks like a pen with a roll on tip. The liquid-like fluid is cool on the skin when applied. It has SPF to protect your under eye area from sun’s harmful rays that may cause further damage and darkening. Surprisingly, after weeks of use it lightens my under eye area. But the bad side is, I have noticed that my skin has become sensitive. So I discontinued to use it.

All in all, Etude House will work for my skin and its results would have been better if only I have slept earlier and avoided staying up late same for Garnier. But for the meantime, I should avoid using the eye roll-on due to sensitivity.
