A Product Review on Maybelline New York’s B.B. Cream

We (me and my sister) saw this on a teen magazine with rave reviews when it first came out a long time ago and bought it at Watson’s Department Store. It is very affordable and handy. It can fit in your purse. This B.B. cream (stands for Blemish and Balm cream) has natural coverage, light-weight feel on the skin, makes your skin appear brighter, hides skin’s redness and pores instantly look finer when applied.  I only use a small amount so this little baby can go a long way. It also can be made as your make-up base.

Before going outside, I sometimes use this after long hours of work to make my skin look like I have a complete eight-hour sleep. I love this because it has SPF 30, doesn’t block pores and my skin doesn’t break out after using this for a long period of time. Also, it doesn’t cake on my face and it looks natural like you haven’t applied anything on. I carry around an extra bottle for any emergency touch-ups or whenever I forget to apply this before going anywhere.

Note: I bought this for personal use and am only expressing my opinions.  Results may vary depending on variable factors.

Sugar, Spice and Everything Nice

I remember the nursery rhyme “Sugar, spice and everything nice. That’s what girls are made of...” and so on. We’ll a girl has got to do something look to and feel nice, at least. From eating chocolates, to going to spas and shopping these are some of the things people do to feel at ease and relive themselves from stress and pressure. I for example, do at home DIY treatments because I don’t have time to go to a salon or derma clinic. And of course, to rid of the stress that I face every day and to feel relaxed.

As shown in the picture, they are only some of the products that I’ll share to you which I personally use every other day. The green stuff is OPAL hot oil cream conditioner for my hair repair. A special blend of aloe vera and virgin coconut oil for deep moisturizing treatment of my tresses. This stuff works for my hair. After a week, I could see results. My once dry and dull hair became soft, shiny and manageable. It felt just like you came from the salon and I don’t have to spend a lot for a jar costs only Php99.00.

Next is the Lorea’l Derma Genesis facial wash. I like this one ‘cause it has micro beads which can slough off dead skin cells easily. After using it for months, my skin appeared smoother and softer. The other one that I use to avoid pimples and zits is the Lorea’l Pure Zone. This is a miracle worker for me. I get pimples easily whenever my skin is exposed to pollution and sweat but this product really cleanse my skin thoroughly and unblock my pores. The last one in the picture is Olay Total Effects facial wash. I use this one whenever I use make-up because it’s an effective make-up remover.  My skin didn’t feel dry after each use and it left my skin with a clean smell.

Please take note that I only use these products one at a time every other day. Aside from that, I only wash my face twice a day or whenever needed. My skin breaks out easily when I wash my face too often. As for the hot oil cream conditioner, I only use it alternately with my regular shampoo. Sometimes, I use it alone. Because using shampoo daily may thin out and dry my hair.

Other products that I use daily after bath are Johnson’s baby lotion and milk bath. Not only it smells good but it’s also gentle on my skin. It’s cheap too.  Olay Natural White is my daily facial moisturizer because it doesn’t ‘cause any break outs and it has SPF 30. It protects my skin from harmful rays of sun that may cause premature aging.

A girl's got to do what a girl has got to do. Don't you agree?

What I want, love and like

After two long months of deciding how to share my thoughts, I created a blogsite.
In this site, I'll share to all of you my candid opinions and reactions when i get what
i want, love and like in my life. As part of my new year's resolution, a make-over which
includes shopping for dresses, make-up, hair cut and shoes are included in my plans.
Aside from that, different places and delicacies are also included and of course
will be blogged about (pictures included).

Oh! before I forget to introduce myself. This is your newbie blogger, Ellaine.
Addicted to cute stuff and new places. Ready to take-off another year.
See you in a while.  ^_^
